SHEER HELLISH MIASMA 1:00 PM

A Super blurred maelstrom by Kevin DiTrapano - one half of Imsosorrydad from NYC - coupled with howling soundtrack by Yoga, the "black metal's answer to Throbbing Gristle": the result is pure hell, a video-audio miasma filled with 80's supercars, hallucinating glitches and fake indian deities (or so it seems). This vid was recently featured in 0900 Solar Boarding Pause Alonzo at High Street Project in Christchurch, NZ, together with works by James Ferraro, Daniel Lopatin, Todd Ledford/OESB etc. Sort of hypnagogic who's who, uh?

We love Zonk Out. He's the Master of Video Feedback, the Lord of the Glitches, the Maestro of the Self-Generating Patch. No cameras, no tricks: only noise abstractions and aleatoric shapes directly from the rotten bowels of the machine.

A psych-geometric frenzy from our Texas heroes at Totally Wreck, messing with Neon Indian's (AM). 26 seconds of bad TV rapture, glitched triangles and hazy sounds - love it. Too short? Hey, that's the length of the song...

A gorgeous ad from the late 70's; a morning walk with a "trademark-dog" on a leash through a landscape of dazzling colors, animated by ghostly characters and punctuated by eerie sounds.
Acid graphics and a magnificient sound-design work. Five stars.

We're pleased to announce that the first album from our mate P0lysick (one half of AAVV, actually...) will be out soon on Danny Wolfer/Legowelt's personal label, Strange Life Records: P0lysick himself assures it will be a collection of weird italodisco with some hypnagogic flavour, labeled as (er...) "mellow acid". Now, just watch the AAVV video for his first single, Smudge Hawaii:
